These Waendal Summer Houses are very well made building utilising heavy joinery made doors & windows in the classic style and have a heavy internal 2x2 framework. They are clad in redwood deal T&G shiplap for long life and when these buildings are delivered we will erect them for you free of charge - all you need to do is to provide a solid level base. With a large range of sizes and the option to have a veranda - so you can enjoy our warmer days (we do get them !!) this is the building for you.

Sizes:Summer Buildings are available in sizes from 7x5 right up to 20x12 or larger.
Cladding:16mm T&G redwood deal softwood planed shiplap. Actual thickess 12mm x 120mm (5/8" x 4¾"). Option for Loglap.
Framing:Heavy duty vertical framing 45mm x 45mm. (2x2 nominal)
Thickness at the corners when assembled approximately 70mm x 45mm.
Roofs:16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G timber and covered with green mineral roofing felt.
Floors up to 8 x8:16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G boards set on 2 x 2 pressure impregnated bearers.
Floors 8 x 8 and over:Summer Buildings 8' wide & 8' deep and over have a heavy duty ¾" V313 grade moisture resistant particular boarded floor set on 2 x 2 pressure impregnated bearers.
Doors:Joinery quality (1¾" thick) Georgian style double doors and hung on black 'antique style' hinges, handles and mortice lock. Height approx 67".
Windows:Fully opening quality joinery made Classic windows on both sides of this Waendal Summerhouse. 3mm clear horticultural glass bedded in clear silicone.

Ridge height:up to 8' wide 2030mm (80")

Nails:Rust resistant to prevent those ugly rust stains.
Treatment:Free exterior treatment with a quality preservative.
Corner Strips:Wrap around corner strips for extra protection and appearance.
Erection:Erected free of charge, provided you supply a flat solid level base. All summer buildings are secured with coach screws to ensure ease of taking them down again if needed.
Optional Extras.2' verandah, 3' verandah, 4' verandah. Toughened, laminated or wired glass. Extra or less windows and doors. Extra height.
Timber Sizes:All timber sizes are actual - after machining. Beware of other summer buildings with before machining measurements. Always check.
