Diamond 'Wilbye' Summer Houses

These 'Wilbye' Summer Houses are very well made incorporating FULL LENGTH Joinery Made Georgian doors and windows (on the front) and at least 2 opening on the sides. Also utilised is heavy internal 2x2 vertical framework. Clad in redwood deal T&G SHIPLAP for long life, not the less durable cheap whitewood normally used, with option for Loglap cladding, and when these buildings are delivered we will assemble them for you free of charge - all you need to do is to provide a solid level base. These summerhouses with the optional veranda, so you can sit out enjoying our warmer days, (we do get them !!) makes this the building for you.

FREE Assembly of these Summerhouses - Giving you Time to sort the Barbecue out or put your feet up.

These Diamond Summer Houses are available in a massive range of sizes to suit YOUR needs and not just a few set sizes with most makers offers. You also have the option to move the doors & windows or add extra windows for a small extra charge so you can see that a quality summerhouse can meets your exact needs at a very good price. We normally have one on display on our display site (we believe that you should be able to view the quality of our summerhouses and not just rely on a brochure or computer screen) UNLIKE most of the competitors who DON'T give you the opportunity to view at all.

Diamond 'Wilbye' Summer House Specifications
Sizes:Any size from 8 x 5 up to a massive 20x16 in Apex Georgian styles.
Cladding:This summerhouse is Available in two claddings - 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G Shiplap OR 19mm (15-16mm finished thickness) T&G Loglap. (Redwood deal not cheap whitewood). Treated externally. Coach screwed construction.
Framing:47 x 47mm (2" x 2" nominal) solid vertical framing as standard. Effectively thicker in corners when erected (about 70 x 45mm.
Roofs:16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G timber (no chipboard, sterling board, OSB board or any sheet materials - as these are unsuitable for outdoor use) and covered with heavy green mineral roofing felt.
Floors:The floor is 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G boards on buildings up to 8x7. Over this size they have heavy duty 20mm (¾") v313 grade moisture resistant particular boards set on 47 x 47mm (2x2 nominal) pressure impregnated joists for long life.
Doors:Joinery quality (1¾" thick) FULL LENGTH Georgian style double doors and hung on black 'antique style' hinges, handles and mortice lock. Size approx 68" x 42" wide. (173 x 107cm)
Windows:Fully opening quality joinery made Georgian windows on both sides of this 'Wilbye' Georgian Summerhouse. 3mm clear horticultural glass bedded in clear silicone. (Not cheap scratchable plastic or perspex). Georgian joinery windows (individual panes) as standard. Option for toughened - laminated - wired glass. Fixed FULL LENGTH Georgian windows either side of the double doors.
Eaves Height:Internal height: 1830mm (72") - all summerhouses.
Ridge height:From 203cm (80") to 254cm (100"). Extra height available at 6% for each extra 90mm (3½")
Nails:These are all rust resistant to ensure long lasting good appearance to your summer house. NO staples are used as these are not suitable for a quality summerhouse.
Erection:All our wooden summerbuildings are installed FREE of charge, provided you provide a solid level concrete or paving slab base or timber decked area, or possibly could be built on your timber bearers. Optionally, we have an option for building a timber subframe for you. These summer houses are assembled using coach screws for ease of taking it down again if you decide to move.
Corner Strips:Wrap around corner strips for extra protection and appearance.
Optional Extras.2' veranda, 3' veranda, 4' veranda. Toughened, laminated or wired glass. Extra or less windows and doors. Extra height partitions, timber bases - Please Ask
Bespoke:Any design summer house made to suit. If not sure please contact us for your personal quote

Delivery:There is no charge for delivery within Diamond standard delivery area but they can be delivered in most of England or Wales, outside of the free delivery area, for a surcharge.

Sizes:Unless specified as finished size then sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm.
