The latest episode of Eastenders shows the dangers which exist in the average garden shed. Lucas and his estranged wife Trina were argueing and she was pushed making her fall against the garden shed wall where a rake is stored prongs outwards. As in all the soaps there has to be a dramatic story line and the fork prongs go into Trina's neck. She is left dieing whilst Lucas sits outside uncaringly. Full marks to Eastenders for coming up with an original story line but it rather gruesome. |

We are firm believers that you should always have the ability to view a product before parting with your cash and we are delighted that you can now view products from the newest addition to our product line: the Humber Range of garden sheds and summerhouses alongside examples of our Diamond and Trentan garden buildings. We now have three examples from our Humber range for you to view from a small 6’ x 4’ Tanalised Loglap apex storage shed to a large 14’ x 8’ T&G Shiplap building which would be ideal for use as a workshop. |

At long last we have added a Blog to our website http://www.leisurebuildings.com which feature all our range of garden sheds and buildings. It is a surprise that it has taken so long as we were the very first website in the UK to feature garden sheds back in 1996. At the time I was running Titan Garden Sheds which I have started back in 1979 making garden sheds and selling direct to the public. At the time the advertising was done through local newspapers, mainly in the classified sections. Occasionally we had a small display advert but being a very small company back in those days was not very often. |

If you are thinking of buying a timber garden shed there are many things to consider to ensure your don't waste your money. With many cheap garden sheds on the market you may be tempted to think these will fulfil your needs but it you intend to use the sheds for many years this can be a false economy. The main thing to look at is the thickess of the shed framing (effectively the skeleton of the shed). You will find that the cheap sheds often have framing only 28mm x 28mm (that is only 1" x 1"). Take a look on a ruler and see how small that is. |

Who could believe just how much use I have had from one garden shed. I bought the building for my garden about 9 months ago, as my house no longer seemed big enough for all the items I wanted to store. I had my shed lined out and now use it as a craft room. I love making cards and crafting and it is surprising just how much fresh air I now get. I spend as much time in there as I possibly can as I experience the peace, tranquillity and the freedom to leave things just where I want to and I have even taken up gardening. It is amazing to think I used to shut myself in the house but now I really enjoy the great outdoors. |
