Concrete Garages. THE 1st Choice with the 15 Year Guarantee. Longest in the Industry
Leofric and Mayfair precast concrete garages use one of two concrete panel systems, both designed for rapid on-site construction.
Key features of both systems...
Pictured is the Vertical Panel System in operation.
Virtually maintenance free.
Available in a choice of attractive finishes.
Simple foundations: designed for construction on a level concrete base.
These same systems are in use in other buildings made by Leofric Building Systems, including small to medium-sized workshops, office and storage buildings, and larger industrial, commercial and community buildings.
1. Vertical Panel System
Walls are constructed from 7ft (2.133m) high precast concrete panels, finished in natural stone aggregate and reinforced with steel. Panels interlock and are bolted together with rust resistant fixings. All external joints are sealed with mastic and finished with aggregate and all external bolt heads are concealed.
All panels are non-combustible and meet the half-hour structural integrity and flame penetration requirements of statutory requirements.
Conformity standard information is available on request.
Finishes
There is a choice of four aggregate finishes that comes as standard for external walls. (Alternatively, the customer may request plain panels, to apply their own coating.)
Accessories
There is a range of accessories available designed to be used with this panel system, including windows, personal doors, shelf brackets and lining clips.
Sparlite: A multi-coloured, angular calcined flint also known as Canterbury Spar. Provides a tough finish merging well with landscape and many architectural styles.
Brownstone: A dusky red crushed quartzite from Scotland, giving a wall finish blending well with red-brown brick environments.
Whitespar: Natural white Gabbrolit aggregate from Norway. Has a low porosity and is highly resistant to pollution. A practical choice where a reflective white finish is required. A small proportion of black granules adds interest to the texture and appearance of this finish.
Buff Quartz: A warm toned beige colour of crushed quartzite from Scotland giving a finish that blends particularly well with warm coloured natural stone.
2. Post and Panel System
As the name suggests, this method of construction uses concrete posts spaced at regular intervals, with the panels "stacked" between. Post and panels are shaped to accommodate each other (indeed, our concrete fencing, which uses this system, requires no fixings at all!). Panels are held firm with locking plates which attach to the posts.
Finishes
Panels for this system are cast in one of three finishes...
Rockwall
Shiplap
Logwall
Rockwall finish is available on all garages using this system. Shiplap and the new Logwall effect may not be available on some models. Note that garages are usually supplied unpainted, for the customer to apply their own colouring if desired.
I just wanted to say how pleased we are with the shed. It is perfect for what we need – a pool plant room and changing room. The erection went perfectly. Your delivery man and erector did an excellent job.
I just wanted to say what an absolute pleasure it was to deal with your company. I have overseen the refurbishment of our house which has taken a depressingly long two years.
Luckily, we haven't had to live in it during that time but once the shed arrived - so promptly and easily - we considered moving in there!
