The Trentan 'Contemporary' Log Cabins are versatile, beautiful, long lasting and fully functional.

With their extra thick 44mm interlocking timber walls these Log Cabins are superbly strong and will last a lifetime. Made from either superb Redwood Deal, Douglas Fir, Thermowood or Cedar - all from managed forests - you know this this is an ethically sound building for the 21st century. With a choice of four different window styles and four different door styles, you can be sure your log cabin will reflect your personality.

Double Glazed Three Door Sliding Door System as Standard

The centrepiece of these 'Contemporary' log cabins are the unique 3 door sliding track system which allows light to flood in all year round. When summer arrives simply slid back the doors, sit back and relax as you enjoy the refreshing cool breeze which bring with it those familiar summertime scents of freshly mown grass and food sizzling slowly on the barbeque. Natually the doors and windows are fully DOUBLE GLAZED to keep the warmth in and the cold out, you can be sure you are doing your bit for the environment

These Log Cabins are made from interlocking 44mm logs, precisely made in England with an option for Double Wall Fully Insulated buildings. Comes as standard with high quality joinery double glazed doors and windows. The roofs on these 'Contemporary' Log Cabin are made from redwood T&G boards covered in high quality heavy duty green mineral felt with an option for felt tiles, cedar shingles or for a slatted roof. The superb floor is also redwood meaning you can expect a very long life with these superb garden cabins.

With a range of standard sizes, from 3.2 x 3.2m right up to 6.0 x 5.2m (larger sizes available) and with many options you can be assured these Log Cabins will meet your long term needs in the garden. Every log cabin is fitted with the highest quality handles, hinges and fasteners and, whether you choose the apex or pent roof style, there is no need to worry about heat loss as double glazing is fitted as standard. A fully bespoke building at an 'off the peg' price. Also, the 'Contemporary' log cabins can be optionally erected onto your level base

Trentan 'Contemporary' Log Cabins Spec
Sizes:Log Cabins from 3.2 x 3.2m (10½' x 10½') to 6.0m x 5.2m but larger cabins may be made so please ask if you need any other size.
Internal Sizes:Deduct 290mm (11¼") from the quoted sizes to give the internal measurements for the standard log cabin, or alternatively please call.
Cladding:44mm double interlocking Logs. Redwood Deal, Douglas Fir, Thermowood or Cedar Cabins. All logs are from managed forests.
Style:Pent Style (or Apex) Pent Style is less than 2.5m overall height to meet latest planning regulations. Flexible in design i.e doors and window positions to suit.
Roofs:18mm (15mm finished thickness) T & G Timber Boards on heavy duty 125mm x 44mm roof purlins - covered with heavy duty 38kg green mineral felt. Option for felt tiles, cedar shingles or for a slatted roof. Superbly attractive overhang on Log Cabin of about 200mm (8") all round and 30cm (12") on pent front. Standard 60cm (2ft) roof canopy on apex cabins.
Floors:18mm (15mm finished thickness) T & G Timber Boards on 65mm x 40mm tanalised bearers.
Doors:Three door sliding track system, 2330mm (91½") wide x 1860mm (73") high set in a solid frame using silver butt hinges with a silver handle and mortice lock. Also includes draft excluders and double glazed with toughened glass - for that extra attention to detail. Option for extra log cabin doors. No cost option for Classic, Contemporary, Panoramic or Cottages style doors.
Windows:Two 640mm (25") wide x 1440mm (56½") high single windows with a top opener in each of them set in a frame using silver friction hinges and fasteners. Also includes draft excluders and double glazed with toughened glass. Option for extra log cabin windows and choice of Classic, Contemporary, Panoramic or Cottages style windows at no extra charge.
Height:Front height 250cm (98") on Pent cabins. Lower eaves on these timber log cabins is 225cm (88") CHECK the height you may get from other companies. Apex buildings would normally be higher than 2.5m.
Treatment:Cabins are naturally untreated but can be optionally treated with Tikkurilla on redwood deal, Douglas Fir Log Cabins, Thermowood and Cedar Cabins. All logs are from managed forests.
Erection:Optional Assembly service available onto your solid and level concrete or paving slab base.
Delivery:Cost for delivery varies according to your location. Cost on above order form.
Alterations:It may be possible to make changes so please ask. If not sure please contact us for your personal quote
Optional Extras:Double Walls with Kingspan insulation to wall, floor and roof, extra doors and windows, felt or cedar shingles roof
Sizes:Unless specified as finished size then sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm.
