The Trentan range of timber Heavy Duty Garages are produced using high quality pressure treated redwood deal timber on a more than substantial framework which is 90 x 38mm (3¾" x 1¾") as standard. The roofs are made from the highly rated Onduline roofing on top of 8mm OSB boarding. This gives an unique 15 years guarantee to the roof giving you long term peace of mind. You can expect a very long life for your heavy duty timber garage and the warranted life span using Tanalith pressure treated timber is 15 years plus.

With a range of standard sizes, from 8½ x 14' up to 20' x 30' and the option to make changes to the standard timber heavy duty garages you can be assured these garages will meet your long term needs. We don't have this garage on display but we do have the Heavy Duty Workshop for you to examine for quality and construction of our Trentan buildings at our display site. The garage is essentially the same except the garage does not have a floor, it's taller and has heavier framing. We believe that you should be able to view the quality of our buildings and not just rely on a brochure or computer screen - UNLIKE most of the competitors who DON'T give you the opportunity to view at all.

Trentan Wooden Garages Specifications

Sizes:	From 8½' x 14' up to 20' x 30' as standard, in more or less any size to meet your needs.
Cladding:	16mm (12mm finished thickness) shiplap OR 19mm (16mm finished thickness) T&G. (Redwood deal not cheaper whitewood). No further treatment required. Coach screwed construction. OR Further option for 12mm Cedar, 20mm Redwood deal Loglap or 20mm Thermowood claddings.
Framing:	90 x 45mm (3¾" x 1¾") as standard, with diagonal bracing, tanalised quality timber, at 600m centres. Thicker in corners.

Style:	Normally apex (gable) but also available with Pent (mono-pitch - single pitch - lean-to) roofs
Apex Roofs:	Onduline roofing on top of 8mm OSB boarding for cosmetic reasons. (no chipboard, sterling board, OSB board or sheet materials used for structural purposes) 15 years guarantee.
Pent Roofs:	PENT model roofs are pressure treated 16mm (12mm finish thickness) T&G timber boards covered with heavy duty mineral felt - NOT Onduline. (no chipboard, sterling board, OSB board or sheet materials)
Style:	Several different standard styles to suit, including pent (mono-pitch). Bespoke Specials to suit if you need something different. Take a look at our wooden garages photo album for ideas.
Doors:	Tanalised ledged and braced double doors 6½' high x 7' wide. Joinery made fitted with heavy duty hook and band hinges and rim locks. Two doors on double garages, Three doors on triple garages. Optional, with windows in doors, 'Up and Over' steel doors, or 'Up and Over' steel doors infilled with timber.
Windows:	Joinery made with opening windows included as standard. Number varies with size of garage. Option for extra.
Height:	Eaves height 7' 1" eaves on all buildings. Ridge height on 8' 6" wide timber garages is 8' 8" Ridge height on 10' wide timber garages is 9' 0" Ridge height on 12' wide timber garages is 9' 2" Ridge height on 14' wide timber garages is 9' 7" Ridge height on 16' wide timber garages is 9' 11" Ridge height on 18' wide timber garages is 10' 1" Ridge height on 20' wide timber garages will be 10' 3". Option for extra height or possibly lower than 2.5m overall height.
Treatment:	These Timber Garages are pressure treated using the renowned Tanalith treatment which give the buildings a 15 year life, before re-treating. Cedar is treated with top quality preservative, instead.
Erection:	FREE Erection onto your solid and level concrete base. £1 per square feet discount for delivery only. All timber garages will require 6" compacted hardcore, damp proof course, 4" concrete slab and one course of semi-engineering bricks (with holes), designed to be strong and long lasting.
Delivery:	Cost for delivery varies according to your location.
Alterations:	Any size timber garage can be made with extra doors, windows or partitions. If not sure please contact us for your personal quote
Optional Extras:	Double doors, extra windows, extra height, ply lining followed by a bitumen paper lining, lining & insulation, guttering.
Sizes:	Unless specified as finished size then timber sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm. Overall sizes of wooden garages are nominal METRIC sizes which are slightly smaller than imperial. BEWARE. Many timber garages manufacturers quote BEFORE machining sizes making them APPEAR larger - don't be fooled.

Transverse Apex On this model the gable is across the wider size. i.e if the garage is 20x14 then the 20ft would be the gable front. The doors would be on this side.
