Expert: Return to garden shed and start planting

People facing challenges associated with the new season have been advised to get back out in the garden shed and simply start planting.
That is according to horticultural expert Alan Titchmarsh, who claims that people should not be frightened by their own garden, reports the Telegraph.
Plants simply want to grow, said Mr Titchmarsh, who told the news provider that people "need to loosen up a bit" when it comes to gardening.
"What most people don't understand is that plants inherently want to grow. It's just that we get in the way," he said.
"Give them what they need - light, moisture, food and the right temperature - and they'll flourish. You can grow whatever you want to grow, within reason, if you make the conditions right."
If the plant was still not doing well by its second year, it is simply a matter of digging it up and trying another site, he added.
People have also been advised to go through the tools in their garden sheds before hitting the outdoors this spring, in a bid to ensure everything is in working order, the Creston News Advertiser reports.
