Rave DJs Virus Syndicate, previously known as Virus Crew, began their ascent to the top of Manchester's rave scene by honing their music skills in a garden shed.
According to I Like Music, in the early days the collective used to meet in a garden shed with some mixing decks and work on making songs for hours on end.
The musicians, who have just released their second album, eventually catapulted themselves onto the underground scene and they eventually secured their own radio slot on Rinse FM.
Nika D, a member of the group, told the website that he still remembers the early days.
"We started in a shed in Manchester with decks and mics in there. There were ten or eleven of us and we used to jam out in there for hours on end," he stated.
Another musician who used his garden shed to help his creative juices flow is rapper Snoop Dogg, according to the Independent.
