Shiplap and Loglap at both put through a large planing machine which smooths the timber and puts on their edges a 'tongue' and 'groove' so that when the boards are put together they lock in together.
The shiplap is essentially flat with a slight 'scallop' shape cut out. The Loglap is flat on the inside but the outside is rounded to give the look of logs.
Featheredge is cut and if you look at the end of the boards they are triangular. The boards have a sawn finish. On all buildings the boards overlap by a very genrous 1" except on the Bargain range where they overlap by ?".
Please have a look on our page

Titan Shiplap boards are cut from 16mm boards and after planing they finish at about 12mm (?"). Titan Loglap is cut from a 25-22mm boards and their finished thickness is about ?".
Titan Featheredge boards are cut from 25mm x 150mm and this gives two boards. With the large overlap there is an average thickness of 5/8".
