The Trent range of timber Heavy Duty Cheshire Georgian Chalets are produced using high quality pressure treated redwood deal T & G timber on a more than substantial framework which is 45x70mm (2¾" x 1¾") as standard. Also available in cedar for the sleek look.

The roofs are made from tanalised T& G boards covered in high quality heavy duty green mineral felt with an option for felt tiles, cedar shingles or for a slatted roof. The superb floor is also pressure treated using Tanalith. You can expect a very long life for your heavy duty summerhouse and the expected life span using Tanalith pressure treated timber is 15 years plus.

With a range of standard sizes, from 8x8 up to 12x10 (larger sizes available) and with many options you can be assured these summer buildings and chalets will meet your long term needs. Also, the Cheshire Chalet Georgian Summer house are erected FREE of charge onto your level base.

Sizes: From 8 x 8 up to 12 x 10 as standard, but larger buildings can be made so please ask if you need any other size.
Cladding: 16mm (12mm finished thickness) shiplap OR 19mm (16mm finished thickness) T&G. (Redwood deal not the cheaper whitewood). No further treatment required. Coach screwed construction. OR Further option for 16mm (12mm finished thickness) Cedar cladding.
Framing: 70 x 45mm (2¾" x 1¾"), as standard, tanalised quality timber. Thicker in corners.
Style: Apex
Roofs: 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T & G Tanalised timber covered with heavy duty green mineral felt. Option for felt tiles, cedar shingles or for a slatted roof. Standard roof overhang is 18". Option for 3' veranda.
Floors: 16mm (12mm finished thickness) pressure treated T&G boards on 47 x 47mm tanalised floor joists.
Door: Tanalised joinery Georgian 8 pane double doors 44" wide x 5' 10" high. Fitted black antique hinges and handle. Cedar summerhouses will have cedar doors.
Windows: Joinery made Georgian style with opening windows. Various options on these summer houses including double glazing.
Height: Eaves height 6' 3" eaves on all summer buildings. Ridge height on 8' wide summer houses is 7' 7", on summer houses 10' wide is 7' 11" and on summerhouses 12' wide will be 8' 1". Option for extra height.
Treatment: All garden chalets and summer buildings are pressure treated (with exception of cedar summer houses) using the renowned Tanalith treatment which give the cladding and timber a 15 year life. Cedar summer buildings are treated with a quality treatment
Erection: FREE Erection onto your solid and level concrete or paving slab base.
Delivery: Cost for delivery varies according to your location. Check costs here.
Alterations: Any size garden chalet or timber building made with extra doors, windows or partitions. If not sure please contact us for your personal quote
Optional Extras: Double doors, extra windows, georgian windows, extra height, ply lining followed by a bitumen paper lining, double glazing.
Sizes: Unless specified as finished size then sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm.
