These 'Barton' Summer Houses are very well made utilising heavy joinery made Georgian doors and windows (including at least 2 opening) and have a heavy internal 2x2 vertical framework. They are clad in redwood deal T&G SHIPLAP for long life, not the less durable cheap whitewood normally used, and when these buildings are delivered we will assemble them for you free of charge - all you need to do is to provide a solid level base. These summerhouses also have the option for a veranda - so you can sit out, enjoying our warmer days, (we do get them !!) making this the building for you.
These Diamond Summer Houses are available in a massive range of sizes to suit YOUR needs and not just a few set sizes with most makers offers. You also have the option to move the doors & windows or add extra windows for a small extra charge so you can see that a quality summerhouse can meets your exact needs at a very good price.
We might not have this model on display at our display site but would have the Wandal Summerhouse, which is the same except the Barton has Georgian doors and windows, (we believe that you should be able to view the quality of our summerhouses and not just rely on a brochure or computer screen) UNLIKE most of the competitors who DON'T give you the opportunity to view at all.
Our background in summerhouse manufacturing, starting in 1979, gives us the know how about the quality of materials which should be used. Our Ethos is 'Make to a Standard - NOT down to a price'.
We also can supply large summerhouses as well as contempory, modern and bespoke buildings.

How To Choose A Garden Shed Door
It may seem a strange subject – how to choose a garden shed door – but this humble object is vital to your new shed or garden building. If you think about it the shed door is the only part of your garden building which is designed to move, there may be many parts on cheap sheds that move as well but they are not meant to, and so must be made to resist these moving forces for years on end.
In the most basic form the shed door is planks of wood nailed onto a frame. Hinges are attached and then the door is hung on your shed or garden building however you will find the weight of the planks of wood pulling downwards by gravity. This is why it is crucial that the frame has proper bracing designed into it to stop this happening.
There should be a minimum of three ledges, timber batons which are horizontal, and in between them there should be two diagonal braces. The braces help to carry the load of the shed door from the outside of the shed door to the side where the hinges are. - Continue reading --
