These 'Waendal' Summer Houses have a very heavy internal vertical framework of 2x2 and are clad in redwood deal T&G SHIPLAP for long life, not the less durable cheap whitewood normally used by other internet sites. They also feature proper joinery made double doors and windows (at least 2 windows open as standard). Also, when these summerhouses are delivered we will assemble them for you free of charge - all you need to do is to provide a solid level base. Want to sit out? - then why not add a balcony to enjoy our balmy warmer days to make full use of this summerhouse as much as possible.

|Cladding:||This summerhouse is Available in two claddings - 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G Shiplap OR 19mm (15-16mm finished thickness) T&G Loglap. (Redwood deal not cheap inferior whitewood). Treated externally. Coach screwed construction.|
|Framing:||47 x 47mm (2" x 2" nominal) solid vertical framing as standard. Effectively thicker in corners when erected (about 70 x 45mm.|
|Roofs:||16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G timber (no chipboard, sterling board, OSB board or any sheet materials - as these are unsuitable for outdoor use) and covered with heavy green mineral roofing felt.|
|Floors:||Summerhouses less than 8ft wide have 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G boards set on 47 x 47mm (2x2 nominal) pressure impregnated joists for long life. How To and How Often to Treat Your Shed or Garden Building.
You may feel you want to put it off but your garden shed does need treating from time to time to give it a long life. If you follow our advice you won’t need to do this more than every 2 or 3 years. This will ensure your garden shed and out buildings can be protected against everything the weather can throw at it.
Treating a garden shed can be a messy affair, certainly if I am doing it, so the advice is to wear old clothes which can be thrown away if too badly stained. Always bear in mind that many treatments can irrigate the skin due to the chemicals in them which help to preserve the wood. But always take your time and try not to splash the treatment. If you do get any treatment on your hands, face or skin ensure you wash this off straight away. - Continue reading --
