As usual we will erect your corner summerhouse free of charge. It comes as standard on 2x2 vertical framing and sizes range from 7x7 up to 9x9. You get a lot of building for your money as the price includes free treatment, a fully opening summerhouse window on each side and featuring black 'Antique-style' ironmongery. All the above features makes for a very popular building and when these are delivered we will assemble them for you free of charge - all you need to do is to provide a solid level base. making this the ideal corner summer house for you.

|Framing:||47 x 47mm (2" x 2" nominal) solid vertical framing as standard. Effectively thicker in corners when erected (about 70 x 45mm)|
|Roofs:||16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G timber (no chipboard, sterling board, OSB board or any sheet materials - as these are unsuitable for outdoor use) and covered with heavy green mineral roofing felt.|
|Floors:||These floors are normally made from 16mm (12mm finished thickness) T&G boards set on 47 x 47mm (2x2 nominal) pressure impregnated joists for long life.|
|Doors:||Georgian style joinery quality (1¾" thick) double doors and hung on black 'antique style' hinges, handles and mortice lock. Size approx 68" x 42" wide. (173 x 107cm). Beware of doors with NO bracing|
|Windows:||Fully opening quality Georgian joinery made windows on both sides of this 'Whytewell' Summerhouse. 3mm clear TOUGHENED glass bedded in clear silicone. (Not cheap horticultural glass, scratchable plastic or perspex). Joinery windows (individual panes) as standard. Option for laminated - wired glass.|

|Installation:||All our wooden summerbuildings are installed FREE of charge, provided you provide a solid level concrete or paving slab base or timber decked area, or possibly could be built on your timber bearers. Optionally, we have an option for building a timber subframe for you. These corner summer houses are assembled using coach screws for ease of taking it down again if you decide to move.|

|Sizes:||Unless specified as finished size then sizes quoted are before machining which reduces the size quoted by about 3mm. BEWARE. Many summer house manufacturers quote BEFORE machining sizes making them APPEAR larger - ALWAYS check & don't be fooled.|
How To:- Choose Materials for Sheds & Summer Houses Floors
Different garden shed manufacturers use different types of materials for their shed or summerhouses floors. Whilst some are suitable for outdoor use there are many which should not be used as they are not designed to stand up to the wet British climate and are likely to fail quite soon after delivery.
Chipboard floors:- These are made from wood chips, as its name suggest. These are stuck together and compressed to make a solid material. Absolutely ideal for kitchen cabinets or anything used indoors but outdoors are susceptible to damp. Just a small amount of damp can make the boards fail. As soon as water gets into the shed floor it will be absorbed into the chips making the board swell and then disintegrate.
