Almost 80 buildings on show seven days a week including timber, steel, concrete and plastic!

We positively encourage you to come and inspect the quality of our buildings for yourself by visiting our extensive display centre. Located between Woking and Guildford, in Surrey, we display a selection of products from all of our main ranges of buildings in timber, steel, plastic and concrete.

Take a walk around our display site showing summerhouses, log cabins, garden workshops, sheds and concrete garages

Check out the quality timber and the thickness of the framework. Examine the quality of construction and attention to detail and you will have to agreed: there really is only one choice for your new garden shed, summer building or workshop and that is '1st Choice Leisure Buildings'

Please note that our display is usually manned seven days a week but there will be occasions when we are closed as we may be out working on customer's sites (yes, we do this ourself, we are not completely office bound!). If you would like to speak to us personally please give us a call before travelling to check our availability or like our Facebook page which we will try to keep updated when we will not be in attendance.

Debunking the Misleading Myth that Internet Only Sites are Better

Amazingly there are companies out there who claim it is best not to have show buildings as they are not needed as you can look at their photographs! They claim that we - because we positively encourage you to view - are outdated and that you shouldn't have to waste your valuable time travelling. This is, of course, Utter rubbish: no photo in the world can demonstrate how strong a door is, how thick a piece of cladding is or how well a greenhouse door slides. Could it be that they have something to hide and they don't want you to see what you are buying until it is too late?

They imply that, if you do like the quality of their building, then you can reject it even after they have delivered and assembled it. Right!! Would you feel comfortable telling two burly guys that don't want their building? I don't think so!

Take the risk out of buying on the web and view BEFORE committing yourself. Only then will you know that you're getting what you paid for which is a quality, well-made, garden building. We have been manufacturing garden buildings since 1979 and we had the foresight to be the first company in the UK to sell sheds on the web; hardly outdated. The fact is that forward looking companies recognise that the customer is king and will provide display sites so their products can be viewed.

Always ask yourself the question what have the 'internet only' companies got to hide.

Take a look at the totally independent views from our previous customers and, if you are one of the few that do believe it is best to buy based on a photograph, our photo gallery showing thousands of quality garden buildings supplied to our customers. We take pride in our reputation which has been earned over almost 40 years unlike other companies who have been in business for a far shorter time but who like to shout the loudest.

Metal sheds, steel buildings, storage boxes, caravan tidies and galvanised bike storage How To Ensure Shed or Summer House Door is Right for You

The garden shed or summer house door needs to be designed to work for a very long time so it is important it is made correctly. You will find decent shed and summer house manufacturers take their responsibilities seriously and will ensure they will stand the test of time.

As well as the importance of having ledges AND braces on the garden shed door it is important to have THREE hinges as this will help to transmit the weight of the shed door across and onto the door frame. If there is only two then the door may bulge slightly in the middle. With a joinery made door then only two hinges are required as the weight of the shed door is supported by the jointed frame.

There are various ways for the garden shed door to be kept closed. The very minimum you want is to have a pad bolt with a turn buckle top and bottom on your door. The pad bolt is a sliding bolt and when closed you can put your padlock onto it to protect your valuables. The turn buckle is simply a flat piece of metal with a hole in the middle. This is screwed onto the garden shed frame and when turned will hold the shed door tightly into position. This will help to stop any movement on the door when there are large changes in weather conditions through the year. - Continue reading -- Delivery of metal sheds and steel buildings throughout the UK, England, Wales, Scotland
