Feedback: The service was very efficient from initial enquiry to final installation
Response: It's great to know that the service we offered to you for your new garden shed was efficient from when you first contacted us to when your new garden building was delivered. This is important to us being a small family business. Thanks for taking the time to let us know.
With over thirty years experience in the garden & leisure building industry we can easily spot the difference between a good quality building and an exceptional one and we positively refuse to lower our standards. You can find cheaper buildings but you won't find better for delivery to Crawley. All of our partners have been carefully chosen to offer the finest selection of buildings, with the best after-sales service, at the very best prices.
We believe that it is vital that you are given the opportunity to inspect a building before parting with your so we have established an easily-accessible display site near Guildford in Surrey which is not too far away where you can come and view eighty buildings from all of our main ranges of buildings. You can browse at your leisure without worrying about any high pressure salesmen pouncing on you (not that we would employ that type in any case!). If you need any help then we are there to advise.
The above map will give you directions form Crawley to our display site at Sutton Green where you can our range of timber workshops, concrete garages, summerhouses, log cabins and garden sheds.
Our full range of timber (not log cabins) and concrete buildings will be installed free of charge at the time of delivery providing there is a suitable base. And if there isn't, don't worry, we can build that for you too for a small extra charge. Optional fitting service for log cabins.
Experts in garden sheds & buildings in timber, metal, plastic & concrete. And so much more so take a small drive and come and see us.
At long last we have added a Blog to our website https://www.leisurebuildings.com/ which feature all our range of garden sheds and buildings. It is a surprise that it has taken so long as we were the very first website in the UK to feature garden sheds back in 1996. At the time I was running Titan Garden Sheds which I have started back in 1979 making garden sheds and selling direct to the public. At the time the advertising was done through local newspapers, mainly in the classified sections. Occasionally we had a small display advert but being a very small company back in those days was not very often. One of the best magazines we used for the 'Thames Valley Trader' based in Reading Berks, not that far from our small factory in Surrey. The Thames Valley Trader evolved in the Auto Trader specialising in motor vehicles of all sorts, and like us followed us onto the internet. We also used the Exchange and Mart as a regular spot for advertising.
It was my son, Craig Robin, who introduced my garden shed company, which grew into our family firm, onto the internet back in 1996. My shed company at the time was Titan Garden Buildings, which we still offered for many years afterwards. He saw the internet in its very early stages and realised it would be a good media to let the public know about the range of sheds which we had been making since 1979. One Saturday back in 1996 when my wife and I were going shopping in Woking he asked whether I could get a book on creating a web site which we did. I think this book was by Puffin and it consisted of about 100 pages. However from that book Craig wrote the web pages which would become the foundations for our current web site http://www.leisurebuildings.com/ which you see today and is used by 1000's every day.
At the time I was not very convinced about the possible potential of the internet, having gone through the phase with CB (citizen band) radios back in the late 70's early 80's. The CB's was a mad faze which everyone (so it seemed at the time) wanted to be part of. The problem was that is was illegal to operate the CB radios in the early days, however, the goverment of the day, in 1981 legalised the use of these radios so everybody could use them. For some reason after being made legal they slowly died a death and the faze ended. I thought this would happen on the web - how wrong could I be !!!.
Since those days I have evolved into a great believer on the internet and use it on a daily basis for anything and everything - how did we manage before? We intend to offer a regular blog relating to our company, to garden sheds, also gardening features and helpful advice, so just sign up to be informed when this will happen. We also have a How To Guides relating to garden buildings and related subjects so take a look.
Regards, Robin (The Shed Man)
