Feedback: Initial sales process base and shed delivery time scales was good but when some installation problems occurred it fell to the customer to get involved between base and building supplier.
Response: Thanks for your constructive comments which can help us to improve. I'm pleased the sales process and delivery time was OK for your Platinum wooden shed. However, I'm sorry you have problems afterwards and you felt you would have to deal direct with the factory. We would always do that and we have a system in place so any problems can be tracked to ensure they are rectified. If I can help anytime then please let me know. Regards, Robin.

It's that time of the year where the winter is behind us and the good old garden shed starts to take a new look. Instead of your shed being something down the garden where you have stored (dumped?) your garden tools, the barbecue and garden tables and chairs and did not bother visiting during the dark nights now you see it in a new light. As the clocks go forward the whole atmosphere of the garden changes and the lighter evenings mean you can start to use your garden shed again.
Or are you one of the dedicated gardeners who use your garden shed all the way through the winter, toiling away in the shed and ensuring that come Spring you have a head start on most other gardeners? If so - good for you. Even though I've been in the garden shed business for over 39 years I do tend to forget my sheds during the winter times preferring to be indoors. However, I do make an effort before the winter and ensure that my garden tools and the lawnmower are put away in a semi-decent state so when I come to use then I can more or less get on straight away.
Some garden sheds tend to be used more than others during the winter with an instance where the shed has been insulated. This helps to keep the chill out of the shed and stays more hospitable, also, if there is electric going to the shed then a little electric fan heater is the order of the day to keeping it a little warmer.
But whether you close your shed up and forget it for the winter or use it all year round the general advice is to check through your garden tools at this time of year. This is essential before hitting the outdoors now that Spring is here. The warmer weather is encouraging gardeners, homeowners and garden shed owners to shake off the winter blues and get gardening however it's best to take a steady approach to the start of the season.
The advice is before hitting the outdoors is to go through the garage or garden shed and go through all your garden tools which you will need for the lawn and garden. Ask the question - is everything in working order and serviceable and ready to be used again? Check over your hand tools to ensure that none of these valuable garden tools have corroded or coming loose from their handles. Take the time to get your garden shovels, spades, garden edgers and pruning shears sharpened and you find this will make life so much simpler.
You may need to refill your gas and oil for the power tools and the lawn mower may need sharpening before you venture into the garden, however, you may find a waiting list to getting your lawn mower sharpened as many people leave it late to do this. Also about this time of year it's a good idea to make a start of the new season's vegetables and by pre-warming the ground this will help them make an head start.
