These 'Cookham' Summer Houses being clad in redwood deal T&G SHIPLAP for long life and not the less durable cheap whitewood normally used by other internet sites, are deigned to last. They all have a strong internal vertical framework which is 50mm x 38mm (nominal) enabling it to stand up to the most extreme of weather. The floor and roof being made from 'proper' T&G timber boards - rather than the unsuitable chipboard, OSB or 'sheet' materials used on the 'cheaper' summerhouses available elsewhere are deigned for long life. Also features toughened glass for you family's safety as standard rather than the potentially dangerous horticultural glass used on cheaper buildings.

|Tanalised Treatment:||Optional tanalised pressure treatment for extra long life. Includes all framing, walls, floor and roof. NOT just the walls which some garden sheds companies offer.|
If you choose the tanalised pressure treated option then the thickness of the summer house walls will be increased to 19mm (15mm finished size) instead of 16mm (12mm finished size) FREE of charge. and this will protect against rot for up to 15 years.

Optionally, we have an option for building a timber subframe for you. These summer houses are assembled using coach screws for ease of taking it down again if you decide to move. You need to allow, ideally 150mm (6") all around for the roof overhang.|
