'Shepton' Sun Rooms are Well Designed for Long Life
Besides the great design of these sun rooms you will find they are very well made on sturdy 50 x 38mm (nominal) framework. Included as standard are a window on both ends of the building which allows air to flow through making it a pleasant place to be. Under the window there is slatted staging for bringing on those young plants making this into a very versatile potting garden shed. The strong door is ledge and braced for strength and there is a good height inside for working in comfort. Soundly made from redwood deal and not the cheaper whitewood used on 'run of the mill' garden sheds these sun rooms are very well constructed. Where as whitewood can do the job to start with it's important that the shed will be there for the long term and this is where redwood scores. Don't accept second best!
These 'Shepton' Sun Rooms Shed are Built With Solid Timber Throughout
It was important that all the proper steps were taken in designing these sun rooms so the use of 'proper' timber was the way to go. In short this meant that all the timber had to be T&G boarding throughout for greater strength. The T&G boards mean that all the timber boards work together as one and make the sun room shed as strong as possible. Chipboard and OSB board (or any other sheet materials) are not used as they are not suitable for outdoor use. And most importantly is the roof as well as the floor. Using T&G timber means these potentially weak areas can withstand all the elements through at them. Proper T& G timber should be the order of the day on your new sun room shed if you want it to stand the test of time.

How To Ensure Shed or Summer House Door is Right for You
The garden shed or summer house door needs to be designed to work for a very long time so it is important it is made correctly. You will find decent shed and summer house manufacturers take their responsibilities seriously and will ensure they will stand the test of time.
As well as the importance of having ledges AND braces on the garden shed door it is important to have THREE hinges as this will help to transmit the weight of the shed door across and onto the door frame. If there is only two then the door may bulge slightly in the middle. With a joinery made door then only two hinges are required as the weight of the shed door is supported by the jointed frame.
There are various ways for the garden shed door to be kept closed. The very minimum you want is to have a pad bolt with a turn buckle top and bottom on your door. The pad bolt is a sliding bolt and when closed you can put your padlock onto it to protect your valuables. The turn buckle is simply a flat piece of metal with a hole in the middle. This is screwed onto the garden shed frame and when turned will hold the shed door tightly into position. This will help to stop any movement on the door when there are large changes in weather conditions through the year. - Continue reading --

Garden Storage, Summerhouse and Timber Workshops Made to a High Standard - Not Down to a Price
DIAM-WF-GEO9-6 - This is the second time I've used 1st Choice leisure buildings. From start to finish they have proved to be an excellent company and I would fully recommend their service and product. This is a slightly smaller repeat of the shed I had in my previous house. Unimaginative?? Absolutely not. This shed is now painted and looks like a summer house but at a much cheaper price. The quality of the finish is far superior to sheds viewed elsewhere. It's worth payng for the wrought iron fittings if the shed is in close view. Click for More About Timber Garden Sheds
