The garden by its very nature lends itself to being modelled to suit its environment, the natural aspect created by all living things is limitless, with the only limitation being the human mind. Taking the basic garden design and working with what is available such as garden sheds, summer house, existing trees and bushes garden designers can often work miracles.
This usually involves sitting down and working out what is important for the particular garden owner and you will find that nearly everyone has their own ideas and ideal garden. From the practical such as somewhere to store garden items, maybe in a garden shed, or small timber store, to what sort or area is needed for relaxing in the garden.
Also it is needed to consider how much 'hands on' they want to be, are they keen gardeners or are they looking for a low maintenance garden. With the answer to these basic questions a garden designer, sometimes a landscape gardener, will be able to sit down and work out some garden designs to meet their customers requirements.
There are various schemes to encourage up and coming garden designers and you often find the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) behind them. The Young Garden Designer Award is one of their schemes and this is a sought after honour. A recent theme was the Industrial Buildings and Landscape of the North West and this had six young gardeners short listed for this award after they created some beautiful outdoor spaces just using tools from a basic garden shed.
With candidates, aged 28 and under, from across England submitted their garden designs for the show garden created at the RHS Show at Tatton Park. A member of the judging panel stated that they were astounded by the quality of entries for this contest. However, the six short listed demonstrated a professional design concept and the understanding and level of planting which would normally only be found from more experienced gardeners.
The best three young garden designers won a total of £12,000 from the North West Regional Development as well as the RHS. With this money they were able to bring their garden designs to fruition at Tatton. This annual Tatton show normally runs during July of each year and is one of the top gardening events in the country.
This year's RHS Flower Show Tatton Park will be from 17th - 21st July 2018. So if you want to see some of the best garden designs and garden buildings and small summer houses UK displays, such as garden sheds and summer houses (similar to 1st Choice Garden Sheds), along with a marvellous range of other garden related products this is the place to head for.
