These very well made ‘Wittering’ Garden Rooms include FULL-LENGTH Joinery Made Georgian double doors and windows (on the front of the building) as well at least 2 opening windows on the sides. The heavy internal 2×2 vertical framework is clad in top quality redwood deal T&G SHIPLAP for long life, and not the cheaper less durable whitewood normally used by economy made home offices. There is also a further option for Loglap cladding also in redwood deal. In fact, all of the materials used on these garden offices are top class with no ‘cutting of corners’/
The Wittering Home Garden Office Will be Assembled Free
Besides the high spec of these garden rooms and the top quality – when they are delivered they will be installed without charge. All you need to do is to provide a solid concrete, paving slab or timber decked base for the building to go onto. If you are unable to do that or don’t want to do that we can help with the option of a timber subframe base for you to save you the worry.
Bespoke Garden Offices Made to Suit Your Requirements
There is a large number of different sizes of garden rooms to suit your needs, not just a few which most companies offer. If you want the door and windows moved then no problem, you want extra height then no problem, you would like a partition inside then no problem. You will find there are very few things we have to say ‘unable to help’ too. So if you need a bespoke garden office then you should talk to us so you get the home office to suit YOU – just ask.
Can I Insulate My Summer Room After Delivery?
It’s reasonably easy to insulate a summerhouse if you have semi-reasonable DIY skills. You would need to buy polystyrene or fibreglass insulation and then cut this and fit it in between the internal framework. The fibreglass insulation will need tacking into place to stop it moving before you fix the inner skin. This can be plywood, hardboard (which you can get with an attractive veneer on it) or even T&G boarding. This is OK for the walls but the roof can be a little tricky as you have to put the insulation into place, but you have gravity working against you, making fitting the inner skin fiddly. You would need 2 or 3 people to do the roof. After you have completed that it would also be a good idea to use cover strips over the joins to finish it off.
