Is a 5×11 shed the same as an 11×5 shed?
Reversing the dimensions describes the same rectangular area, but it may indicate a different frontage, depth or door arrangement. Check the selected model’s drawing to ensure the entrance faces the right direction and you can use the space effectively.
What can I store in an 11×5 shed?
Capacity depends on your equipment and layout. Measure a lawnmower or bicycle rather than assuming it will fit, and allow space to move it through the doorway. Arrange frequently used equipment close to the entrance and use shallow shelves or suitable wall hooks along the longer walls. What base does an 11×5 shed need?
Your shed needs a firm, flat and level base built to the selected model’s requirements. Obtain the exact base dimensions before starting work; the nominal 11ft x 5ft description is not a construction plan. An uneven foundation can affect alignment and door operation.
