What About Electric To The Building
Electricity can be supplied to your garden room by hiring a qualified electrician to install wiring and outlets. It is essential to ensure that the electrical work complies with building regulations and safety standards. The electrician will need to connect the garden room to the main power supply, either by laying a new cable from the main consumer unit or by connecting to an existing circuit. This will enable you to power lighting, heating, and any electrical appliances in your garden room. Additionally, consider the placement of sockets and switches to best suit the layout and function of the space. We can arrange this for you if required.
Should I View Before Buying?
Considering whether to view a garden room before making a purchase is crucial. Visiting the garden room allows you to assess its quality, size, and overall suitability for your specific needs. We provide free delivery for certain areas in the UK. We also offer free installation for all of our garden buildings, except for log cabins. After you have selected your model, whether online or at our showroom, we will coordinate the delivery and setup of your chosen building at your home, all at no added cost to you.

So always check out the thickness of the timber, whether it’s made from redwood or the cheap inferior whitewood, how thick the framing is etc. Does it have toughened glass for safety or imperfect horticultural glass, plastic or perspex? Are the doors and windows joinery made, meaning they will last a long time? All important questions.

Before deciding on a new 12×10 outdoor building for your garden, you should always do your homework (sorry!) as it’s very easy to be taken in with a flashy website leaflet or colour brochure. Try to find time and make a trip down to our showroom where you can see examples on view. By doing so, you will then be able to decide what you may be buying.
