Robin Antill - founder of 1st Choice Leisure Buildings with 47+ years building premium timber garden buildings.
He began his career in the late 1970s, initially working in the sale of low-quality garden sheds. Dissatisfied with standards in the market, he founded Titan Garden Buildings in 1979, producing better-quality structures from farm premises in Surrey and personally delivering them to customers.
Over time, the company expanded significantly, adding staff, machinery, and a broader product range, eventually becoming one of the South of England’s prominent shed manufacturers.
In the 1990s, his son Craig Antill joined the business and helped bring it online. This evolved into 1st Choice Leisure Buildings in 2001, a family-run business combining manufacturing expertise with retail distribution of high-quality garden buildings from vetted suppliers.
Robin brings over 47 years of experience to the industry and contributes expert content to help consumers choose the right garden building solutions.
