The standard Lidget Apex specification includes a fully framed and retractable Hörmann up-and-over door with a white powder-coated finish. The quality and operation of the main door is an important part of any garage specification and is something I believe should be considered when comparing apparently similar buildings.

Alternative main doors and separate personal access doors are available. If you regularly need access for tools, bicycles, gardening equipment or workshop use, adding a personal door can be particularly useful because it avoids opening the main vehicle door every time you enter the building.

Concrete Base and Professional Fitting

Professional fitting of the Lidget Apex is included within the applicable delivery area, provided you have a correctly prepared concrete base and suitable access to the garage position. The base needs to be the correct size, flat, square and level because even a well-made garage needs a sound foundation to be installed correctly.

Access also needs to be considered before ordering because the individual components must be carried safely from the delivery vehicle to the prepared base. 10-Year Transferable Structural Guarantee

The Lidget Apex comes with a 10-year structural guarantee which can be transferred if you move home, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. A garage is a substantial purchase, so I believe the guarantee and the manufacturer standing behind the product should be considered alongside the price.
