Solid Strength As Standard – NOT an Extra Charge
The Swedes know the secret of the Nordic timber and is used extensively in their country. The slow-growing nature of this wood makes it ideal for cabins – being both strong and stable. These cabins benefits from this great natural material and which will enable a long life for your new cabin. The design of these Windsor cabins has a stylish and very attractive classic or Georgian design. I’m sure we can help as we always remember it’s your cabin and should reflect your requirements.
Care & Attention to Cabins is Important. NO Cheap Materials Used
The quality of timber used is top notch and you won’t find any cheap or nasty materials in it. Some cabin suppliers even use chipboard or OSB boards in them which is totally unsuitable. The doors and windows on these cabins have features not available anywhere else. They have added strength from part laminated materials and this reinforces and stops any possible twisting to warping effect. Adjustable hinges make them a joy to hang and to live with. Everything designed for the great British weather. With the double glazed windows as standard, they will make it a joy to be in. All timber naturally comes from renewable resources.
Assembly Service Available for These Cabins
These superb cabins can optionally be assembled for you by a third party saving you time and effort. As they do this on a regular basis your new cabin will be up very quickly and importantly correctly. Having said that it’s possible for you to assemble these buildings as everything is done to make it reasonably straightforward. The design was tested having been assembled at the factory before being flat-packed and shipped to you. By following the cabin guidelines it can be assembled efficiently. The secret is to take your time and work through each step one at a time. Want a challenge then there you go! HOWEVER, these cabins can be challenging to assemble so you have been warned! If not we can help along with other essential services.
Be Wary About Buying from a Computer Screen or Brochure
Whilst the internet is great for finding cabins it can never show you the quality of the product being displayed. This is why you should make it a price consideration of viewing before buying, if possible. Even if you don’t view it’s worth dealing with a company which has a cabin display site. This alone proves they are happy for their products to be inspected at close quarter – unlike many cabins UK companies selling on the web. If you can visit you can make your own judgment on the quality of the cabin so that you know when your new building arrives you won’t feel disappointed.
Insulated Cabins
The cabins are supplied with chunky timber walls (good U-values) and double glazing as standard and you can ensure that they are comfortable year-round with the addition of our insulated floor and roof upgrade. We use 50mm PIR Celotex / Kingspan in the roof and cover this with a structural grade 18mm OSB roof deck atop before fitting your specified roofing material. We will use 25mm PIR Celotex / Kingspan in the floor. The fitment of insulation will not affect the internal headroom in any way and prices shown will include for fitting when our teams install your cabin.

| Cladding: | Standard logs are cut from a top-thin grade of Nordic Timber, this ensures the maximum stability and longevity of the timber, on these octagonal log cabins and are 44mm and interlock into each other. The log profile has designed wind-tight connections to ensure a superior resistance against wind. Untreated. Kiln dried timber from sustainable sources. |

| Floors: | 18mm thick T&G untreated boards used on these floors. No chipboard, OSB or other cheap sheet materials used on the floor, unlike some other log cabin UK suppliers.
