Recently our installers were in Guildford to build our customer's Trentan 5.2m x 3.7m x 44mm Brookwood log cabin. They also laid the cabin's heavy duty timber subframe base and included roof and floor insulation, an extra single window, guttering and laminate flooring to the cabin. Last week our installers were in Rochester to build one of our Humber Rochester apex log cabins! The size is 4.6m x 4m x 44mm with an EPDM rubber roof and PVCu windows and door frames in Anthracite Grey. Our installers also laid the cabin's timber over base, included roof and floor insulation, gutters and laminate floor in Tawney Chestnut. The customer also purchased their Demidekk Cleantech paint in Fog Mist from ourselves and our painter will visit soon to paint the cabin.
Last week our installers were in Guildford to build one of our Humber Tonbridge pent log cabins. The size is 5.8m x 2.8m x 44mm with an EPDM rubber roof and PVCu windows and door frames in Anthracite Grey with an additional side window included. Our installers also laid the cabin's heavy duty timber subframe base, included roof and floor insulation and laminate floor in Tawny Chestnut. The customer also purchased their Demidekk Cleantech paint in French Grey from ourselves and our painter will visit soon to paint the cabin. And then our electrician will visit to fit the electrics.

We also laid the cabin's heavy duty timber subframe base and the cabin came with Anthracite Grey PVCu windows and door frames and an EPDM rubber roof. We included roof and floor insulation, guttering and laminate floor in Chestnut Oak. The customer also purchased their Demidekk Cleantech paint from ourselves and our painter will visit shortly to paint the cabin. Recently our installers were in Merton to build our customer's Trentan 3.3m x 2.4m x 44mm Bagshot Mini log cabin. We included guttering, roof and floor insulation and the long lasting EPDM rubber roofing for the cabin together with an extra window and upgraded door handle. The customer purchased their Demidekk Cleantech paint from ourselves and our painter will visit shortly to paint the cabin 🙂

My Experience With Garden Buildings Since 1979
I’m Robin Antill, founder of 1st Choice Leisure Buildings. I left school at 15 and started my first garden building business, Marina Sheds, in 1979. Back then, I worked directly with timber buildings and customers, which gave me the sort of practical experience that is difficult to gain simply by looking through manufacturers’ catalogues.
I sold Marina Sheds in 1990, although unfortunately I did not receive all the money I was due from the sale. By 1992 we had moved into a much wider range of buildings, adding summerhouses, garages, garden rooms and log cabins, and that change of direction led to the name Titan Garden Buildings. My son Craig joined me in 1992 after studying carpentry at Guildford College from 1990, bringing his own practical knowledge of timber construction into the business.
We sold Titan Garden Buildings in 1998. In 2000, Craig and I decided that instead of being tied to a single manufacturer, we wanted to retail garden buildings from established manufacturers whose products we were happy to recommend. That was the thinking behind 1st Choice Leisure Buildings. Today Craig runs the day-to-day business, and I support him and the team whenever required. Why I Recommend Comparing the Complete Cabin Specification
After many years working with timber garden buildings, one point I regularly make is that wall thickness should not be considered in isolation. Two garden log cabins can look remarkably similar in photographs but offer different floors, roofs, glazing, doors, insulation and overall construction. Those details matter most if you intend to use the building regularly rather than only on occasional summer days.

Can a Trentan Log Cabin Be Insulated?
Roof and floor insulation options are available on suitable Trentan models and can be particularly worthwhile when a garden cabin will be used regularly in colder weather. I wouldn’t judge year-round suitability purely by the thickness of the timber walls because heat can also be lost through the roof, floor, windows, and doors. The complete building specification matters more.
