The Ashington Summerhouse is a stylish summerhouse with his elegant deep windows on the front complemented with the double doors which can be thrown open when our wonderful summer arrives (well we can dream!). Very well constructed using redwood deal T&G shiplap cladding, with an option for loglap effect, and built on a very strong frame.
These Ashington summerhouses will stand ‘the test of time’ unlike many of the ‘cheap’ summerhouses available elsewhere which use the cheap inferior whitewood. With the roofs being made from ‘proper’ T&G timber boards and not the cheap and nasty OSB boards, chipboard or wafer board (often described as ‘sheet’ materials to mislead you) used on the cheap summerhouses. Covered in heavy quality green mineral roofing felt for long life. There are also options for verandas to extend the usability of these lovely buildings
Besides the high spec of these summer houses, which comes as standard, you will find that to make your life even easier we will assemble these buildings free of charge. No struggling with large summerhouse panels and hoping you don’t hurt your back or pull any muscles.
No laying the felt out hoping you do a good job and that the roof won’t leak – this is all taken care off for you. You can be confident that your new building will serve its purpose of providing you with a pleasurable place to spend some time away from our busy world.
The internet is a great place to find garden buildings but you will find that not many summerhouse firms allow you to see their products before buying. This can be a little worrying (at the least). Until your new summerhouse arrives you are relying on the company to deliver what they display on their web site. And I think we all know that brochures, leaflets and web pages can look brilliant but the ‘proof of the pudding’ is what is important.
We have a large garden building display site near Guildford where you can see a large range of buildings, including summerhouses. Whilst we don’t always have the Ashington summerhouse on display we do normally have several others from the Diamond range. By examining these you can view the attention to details and can see how well made they are, backing up what you see on our web site.
‘Peace of Mind’ comes as standard with these Ashington Summer Houses. We believe that you should be able to view the quality of our summerhouses and not just rely on a brochure or computer screen – UNLIKE most of the competitors who DON’T give you the opportunity to view at all.
These Diamond buildings are available in a massive range of sizes to suit YOUR needs and not just a few set sizes with most makers offers. You also have the option to move the doors & windows or add extra windows for a small extra charge so you can see that a quality summerhouse can meet your exact needs at a very good price. With the addition of a veranda or balcony, this will throw up new uses for your summerhouse. Add in a partition and a side door and it can combine to be a summerhouse and storage shed – how good is that?
Our background in summerhouse manufacturing, starting in 1979, gives us the know-how about the quality of materials which should be used. Our Ethos is ‘Make to a Standard – NOT down to a price’.
We also can supply large summerhouses as well as contemporary, modern and bespoke buildings.

Current Delivery Times:- This is variable depending on model but, due to unprecedented demand for this range and limits on raw materials following the lockdown, lead time is generally around 6-10 weeks on the Diamond range. Don’t be misled by other companies quoting 10 days delivery, 15 days delivery, 20 days delivery etc. When days are mentioned in deliveries they usually relate to ‘working days’. This means 10 days = two weeks, 15 days = three weeks and 20 days – four weeks not quite the same as you might have expected.
