The Diamond Chichester Pent Classic or Georgian sheds will enhance your home and garden and free up space inside your house for everyday living. By storing all your ‘bits and pieces’ in the garden shed they can be protected from our British weather. This also allows extra room inside allowing you to enjoy your home to the fullest. You will find these solidly made garden buildings will look ‘the part’ in your garden and are available in four different styles to suit your needs or fully bespoke
You will find there is no substitute for quality despite what some shed companies might try to tell you. There is only one way to build a garden shed and that is by using the ‘proper’ quality of timber and not to resort to using cheap materials which only makes a ‘cheap and nasty’ shed. All walls and roof should be made only by using proper T&G timber boards. The use of chipboard OSB board, Wafer board or Sterling board will only make a cheap shed. As soon as these materials get wet they will deteriorate fast. You may save a few pounds to start with but in just a few years you could be forking out for a new shed. Not such a good idea then. Always be aware of sneaky shed companies describing these roofs etc made from ‘sheet materials’. Nearly always you will find them using the cheap boards such as chipboard and OSB board. Don’t risk it.
With a large number of retailers selling garden sheds it can be easy to be overwhelmed. However, the most important thing is to do your homework to ensure you buy a wooden shed to suit your needs. With prices starting quite low it can be easy to be attracted to them but ALWAYS check out what you might be buying. Example questions include – how thick is the timber, how tall is the shed, do they use sheet material in the floors and roof – such as chipboard or OSB board (not good). Does the price include assembly and delivery and a host of other things? Take a look on this page for advice on what to look out for – you won’t regret it. You will often find that a cheap garden shed is just that and not the best value. And that is what you should go for.
There are many garden shed companies out there to choose from so how do you decide who to use. A good idea is to look at previous customers feedback and you can see 1st Choice customer feedback on the this independent site which should give you a good idea about them and their products which are all made from sustainable timber sources.
An important aspect of these Diamond garden sheds is that they use redwood deal timber, which is designed to last, as standard. Most cheaper sheds are made using the less resilient, ‘cheap’ whitewood which, to a certain degree will be OK, but a redwood deal will always be the better option. All wall and roof timber used is proper T&G to ensure the most stable finish to their buildings. The T&G boards also offer greater security over overlap timber sheds. Besides the quality of the materials used the impact on the environment is important and these Diamond pent garden buildings are made to ensure the minimum impact on the environment.
When your new garden shed arrives it’s important that it’s erected correctly and the best way for this to happen is for the experts to do this for you. And that is one of the beauties of these Diamond buildings as they are erected free of charge. That’s right FREE. This ensures it’s built to last and you know the roofing felt is laid correctly to protect from the elements. You will find many garden sheds companies claiming it’s a doddle to erect your new shed. But this is mainly because they don’t offer a shed assembly service – never mind one that is free. So don’t take the risk and have your new garden shed built for you. Peace of mind as standard – now that’s good.
When spending money on a new garden shed it’s a good idea to view it where ever possible. This will ensure you can be sure what you will get. By buying from an ‘internet only’ company you are relying on either a flashy website or maybe a brochure if you are lucky. It’s only when your new garden store arrives do you know what you have ordered – and by then it’s too late. 1st Choice Leisure Buildings has a garden building display site, between Woking and Guildford in Surrey, where you can see up to 100 buildings or all shapes and sizes. This ensures you KNOW the quality before it turns up in your garden. Even if you don’t get to the site the fact that 1st Choice is proud to display their garden sheds must give you confidence in their products. Peace of mind as standard.

Current Delivery Times:- This is variable depending on model but, due to unprecedented demand for this range and limits on raw materials following the lockdown, lead time is generally around 6-10 weeks on the Diamond range. Don’t be misled by other companies quoting 10 days delivery, 15 days delivery, 20 days delivery etc. When days are mentioned in deliveries they usually relate to ‘working days’. This means 10 days = two weeks, 15 days = three weeks and 20 days – four weeks not quite the same as you might have expected.
