Scandinavian garden cabins for sale available nowadays tick all sort of boxes and are designed to meet our requirements in our modern age. The ‘Sunningdale’, in particular, is a very special building. The stylish modern look will look proud in your garden and the recessed veranda is particularly attractive and very useful. Add a light in there or even coloured lights and it will take on a new look at night. When you give some thought as to the many uses this cabin can be used for you may find a conflict between your ‘other half’ and the rest of your family who will all be wanting to make this special cabin their own. This makes this a very special building for your family and your home.
Solidly Strength Built in as Standard Not an Option
Soundly made using slow growing Nordic timbers this cabin is designed for long life. The Swedes know this as this timber is used throughout their beautiful country. The design of the cabin adds to the strength and a unique feature are the internal metal braces within the internal s enables these buildings to stand strong in all types of weather. The modern design is very special and comes with optional Georgian window bars to give a Georgian effect if that suits you or your family. This little feature reinforces the thought which goes into the design and backs up the fact that it’s your choice so should suit you.
Insulated Cabins
The cabins are supplied with chunky timber walls (good U-values) and double glazing as standard and you can ensure that they are comfortable year-round with the addition of our insulated floor and roof upgrade. We use 50mm PIR Celotex / Kingspan in the roof and cover this with a structural grade 18mm OSB roof deck atop before fitting your specified roofing material. We will use 25mm PIR Celotex / Kingspan in the floor. The fitment of insulation will not affect the internal headroom in any way and prices shown will include for fitting when our teams install your cabin.
Care and Attention to Garden Cabins is Important. NO Cheap Materials Used
The quality of timber used is top notch and you won’t find any cheap or nasty materials in it. Some cabin kits UK suppliers even use chipboard or OSB boards in them which is totally unsuitable. The doors and windows on these wooden cabins have features not available anywhere else. They have added strength from part laminated materials and this reinforces and stops any possible twisting to warping effect. Adjustable hinges make them a joy to hang and to live with. Everything designed for the great British weather. With the double glazed windows as standard, they will make it a joy to be in. All timber naturally comes from renewable resources.
Optional Cabin Assembly Service Available
These buildings are designed to be straight forward to erect so can be assembled by an average DIYer. The fact that these have been designed and tested at the factory to ensure everything works and fits together makes it a doddle for assembly. If you would like your new cabin built for you then we can provide details of third parties who can do this for you along with any other related services. Assembled quickly and efficiently your new cabin can be in use before you realise it. Well worth considering?
Be Wary About Buying from a Computer Screen or Brochure
Whilst the internet is great for finding timber cabins it can never show you the quality of the product being displayed. This is why you should make it a price consideration of viewing before buying, if possible. Even if you don’t view it’s worth dealing with a company which has a cabin kits display site. This alone proves they are happy for their products to be inspected at close quarter – unlike many companies selling on the web. If you can visit you can make your own judgment on the quality of the cabin so that you know when your new building arrives you won’t feel disappointed.

| Size: | Sizes of these Sunningdale log cabins are 5.1 x 3.0m and 5.1 x 3.8m. All sizes nominal. Apex or gable style.Note this is the external size of the body of the cabin. The lugs extend 100mm on each corner making the overall size (as most other companies quote) 200m larger. We mention this so you know you are comparing ‘eggs with eggs’. Approximate clear internal size will be approx 100m smaller all round. Please check with us if internal size is crucial. |
| Cladding: | Standard logs are 44mm thick and interlock into each other. The log profile has designed wind-tight connections to ensure a superior resistance against wind. Untreated. Kiln dried timber from sustainable sources. |
| Floors: | 18mm thick T&G untreated boards used on these floors. No chipboard, OSB or other cheap sheet materials used on the floor, unlike some other suppliers. Solid floor joists normally spaced no more than 650mm apart. All floor joists are pressure treated for long life as standard. |
| Roofs: | 18mm thick T&G boards used on the roof sections supported by strong roof beams. Roof beams meet EN 388 stringent standards. Untreated. Supplied with felt tiles (shingles) in either red, brown or green or Polyester based felt as standard.Large 30cm (about 11in) roof overhang all round. |
| Porch : | A delightful covered porch area protects over the main double doors providing shade and shelter for the cabin. This log cabin balcony is approx 2.10m wide x 1.05m deep. |
