Garden Buildings worth a Thousand Words
Our new photo album is so valuable that it can convey an immense amount of information and emotions – equivalent to 1½ MILLION words. This popular saying, which emphasizes the power of visual storytelling, originated in the early 20th century.
Frederick R Barnard, in his article in Printers Ink in December 1921, claimed the effectiveness of pictures in advertising and that his ‘One Look is worth a Thousand Words’ was oriental in origin and so added ‘so said a famous Japanese philosopher’ to his saying. Printers Ink also printed another form of this saying – ‘Chinese Proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words’ also suggesting a oriental origin.
You can view our photo gallery with over 1520 photographs including our super range of garden building. All in full colour and each on their own page so you can view the great detail. All these photos are unique to 1st Choice, meaning you can’t see these elsewhere.
By browsing the thumbnail images of each range, you can access the unique collections. The majority of these ranges are exclusively offered by 1st Choice Leisure Buildings. This ensures that you are purchasing high-quality garden buildings that are not mass-produced or inferior. These structures are meticulously crafted to meet rigorous standards, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
Consider why the mass produced garden cabins makers don’t have display sites, they certainly have the turnover to be able to afford display sites if they wished but this would then enable you to see what cheap materials are used, how weak the floor, walls, doors and roof actually are.
Selling products made of lightweight materials is permissible, as long as it is clear that these affordable cabins should not be compared to the durable garden buildings offered by us or other reputable manufacturers.
How do I know this? I’ve been in the garden buildings business since 1979 (pre Maggie Thatcher) so are aware of what is required. I’ve seen many companies fall by the wayside because of the inferior products offered. Many of the larger companies claim to have been making buildings for many, many years but in fact are ‘phoenix’ companies, new companies formed when the previous incarnation went into liquidation. And we all know what happens when companies go into liquidation – you lose your money.
So with our superb range, our photo album – with currently over 1500 photos – our large range of display buildings means that we, as a small family firm, can compete against the massive mass produced shed companies because we can guarantee quality and actually care about our customers and reputation.
Compared to our exceptional photo albums, where each picture speaks a thousand words, and our outstanding display site, where each building tells a story worth ten thousand words, the larger companies without display sites are virtually illiterate.
