Not necessarily. This is an important point I would check before ordering. Many British garden buildings are manufactured in nominal imperial sizes, so products grouped within the 3m x 3m shed category can have slightly different external dimensions. A traditional 10ft dimension is approximately 3.0m, while other products displayed here may be a little narrower, wider, shorter or longer.
Always check the precise measurements on the individual product page, including roof overhangs where relevant, before preparing a base or positioning the shed between fences, walls or other buildings. The exact product dimensions matter more than the category label.

Can a 3m x 3m Shed Be Insulated?
Yes. I would not automatically choose insulation simply because it is available. If the shed is mainly going to store bicycles, gardening equipment and a lawnmower, practical access, shelving and construction may be more important. Buy the specification for the job you actually need the building to do.

After many years in this business, I would never recommend choosing a shed simply from the photograph and headline price. Look at the timber, framing, floor, roof, doors and glazing and compare the features which actually matter to you.

My Experience With Garden Buildings Goes Back to 1979
I’m Robin Antill, founder of 1st Choice Leisure Buildings. I left school at 15 and started my own business in 1979 trading as Marina Sheds. I learnt the business hands-on, making and selling sheds, delivering buildings and dealing directly with customers. That experience taught me where timber quality, framing, floors, roofs and doors really matter once a shed is being used year after year.
I sold Marina Sheds in 1990, although unfortunately I did not receive all the money which was due from the sale. It was a difficult business lesson, but I remained in the garden-building industry and continued.
In 1992 we expanded beyond sheds to include summerhouses, garages, garden rooms and log cabins. As the business had moved well beyond Marina Sheds, this new direction led to the name Titan Garden Buildings. My son Craig joined me in 1992 after studying carpentry at Guildford College from 1990, bringing his own practical woodworking knowledge into the business.
We sold Titan Garden Buildings in 1998 and in 2000 made another important decision. Rather than being tied to products from one manufacturer, we formed 1st Choice Leisure Buildings so we could compare quality products from different manufacturers and offer customers a genuine choice.

Why Does My Experience Matter When Choosing a Shed?
Having worked with garden buildings since 1979, I have learnt that the right shed is not automatically the cheapest or the most expensive. Two buildings which look very similar online can be quite different when you compare the timber, framing, floor, roof, doors, glazing and overall specification.
For straightforward storage and flexibility, compare the Diamond Chichester and Woodgate buildings. If pressure-treated timber and insulation options appeal to you, look at the Sapphire models. Corner sheds may make better use of an awkward garden position, while Winchester, Fareham, and Portsmouth offer other specifications for customers with different requirements.
