Our Platinum Potting Sheds are extremely popular with the gardener as they have been carefully designed with their needs in mind. Obviously the main purpose of this type of building is growing but we appreciate that someone with such a keen interest in the garden doesn’t want an ugly building blighting the sanctuary of their garden so we offer a choice of two distinct styles which will fit comfortably in any setting.
Whichever model you choose you can be assured that we fit as much glass as possible to ensure that the maximum amount of light floods in to help your plants develop. A strong workbench is fitted beneath the windows as standard and we fit a sturdy stable door to every building to ensure that it remains a comfortable place to work.
As versatile as they are unique in their quality, both models can be used for multiple purposes other than sowing seeds. We have, for example, supplied several Platinum Medstead Potting Sheds which we have insulated and fitted upgraded to double glazed windows for local artists.
There are three building configurations available: Alton – traditional sloping glass front with opening window. Medstead – modern vertical front to maximise growing space. Alresford – versatile building with a half glazed roof for maximum light All models feature stable doors in the end wall and a bench beneath the windows which are located within the side wall however alternatives are always possible as are partitions to create a separate storage shed if desired.
The Platinum Alresford Apex Shed sunroom as many uses. It can be used as a sunroom or possibly as a garden potting shed. Even a hobby room as the light will flow in. It is soundly built from redwood deal timber for long life. You won’t find any chipboard, OSB or other ‘nasties’ in this building.

Every gardener would love the possibilities presented by the addition of a Diamond Potting Shed. With three distinct designs in a huge range of sizes we are confident that you will find something to delight however we can also build to order if you require something a little different. From a small potting shed right up to a very large building.
Portslade – This lean to potting shed is available in sizes from 1.8m x 1.2m (6’ x 4’) up to 4.8m x 3.6m (16’ x 12’) and boasts a fully-boarded sloping pent-style roof. There is a 0.76m (2’ 6”) stable door with a rim-lock as well as a slatted potting bench beneath the windows. The highest part of the roof – 2.06m (6’ 9”) internally on all models – sits directly above the bench making this a good option if you plan on growing taller plants atop the bench.
Pulborough – Similar to our Portslade model however the Pulborough boasts an attractive fully-boarded apex-style roof. The slatted wooden potting bench, opening window(s) and stable door remain however the internal ridge heights vary on this style dependant upon the width of the building. On buildings up to 2.7m (9’) wide the ridge will be 2.06m (6’ 9”) and on 2.7m (9’) models it will increase to 2.13m (7’); on 3.0m (10’) and 3.3m (11’) models this will become 2.18m ( 7’ 2”) and on 3.6m (12’) models a lofty 2.31m (7’ 7”)
Petworth – This ever-popular model is an upgraded version of our Pulborough with half of the roof being replaced with a unique toughened glass roof design to allow the maximum amount of light to flood in.
