All in the call for a quiet life from their other halves. It’s claimed by Honda Lawnmowers that men will walk an average of 220 miles per year, about the same as completing the London Marathon 8 times or walking from Newcastle down to London.
The head of marketing, Martin Mill, for Honda Lawnmowers, said: “It is remarkable that mowing the lawn can mount up to such a huge figure over the course of a lifetime’.

The Royal Horticultural Society advises lawns are best mowed at regular intervals – in the summer as often as twice a week. However, it is important to ensure that the lawnmower is kept clean and prepared for the next cutting session. This can then be stored in the garden shed nice and dry for its next job.
