Vic Reeves writes new book in his garden shed

The beauty of garden sheds is that they can be used as a place for quiet inspiration for those with a creative mind.
While primarily serving a practical purpose storing garden furniture or tools, it seems that the humble garden shed is becoming increasingly popular as a place to write or dream up a work of art.
Childrenīs author Roald Dahl was among the most famous British garden shed authors, and itīs a much-loved comedian who has since admitted to using his shed for creative purposes.
Host of offbeat BBC TV quiz show Shooting Stars told the Edinburgh Journal his latest book-cum-art collection, Vic Reeves Vast Book of Knowledge, took three months to write - all in his garden shed.
The newspaper says one of the highlights of the book is Reevesī exploration of head lice: "Should you ever be unfortunate enough to have your head invaded by head lice, you will be ostracized from your barracks, mocked by women, oppressed, persecuted and maybe even shot."
Other famous writers known to work in their garden sheds include George Bernard Shaw, Dylan Thomas and Rudyard Kipling.
