Shed on wheels set to fight garden crime

Police in Dorset have unveiled the latest crime-fighting weapon – a four by six foot shed known officially as a "mobile crime prevention and education resource", the Metro reports today (November 6th).

The structure is touring the county to help gardeners learn how to make their sheds more secure against burglary. It features thorny plants, which can help deter thieves, as well as locks and security lights.

Along with boosting their shed´s features to prevent break-ins, gardeners might consider investing in an Asgard steel shed which is designed for the utmost security.

PC Chris Nutt of Dorset Police told the Metro: "Burglars see sheds, garages and gardens as easy targets knowing they often contain valuable machinery, tools and equipment."

Last month, Police in Gloucestershire warned gardeners of an increased threat to garden sheds in the autumn and winter months. Many people now are upgrading to security sheds to ward off these threats.
