From humble garden shed to stadium

Leicester City Football Club is to celebrate its 125 year history, from garden shed to stadium.

The Leicester Mercury reports that the two month Shed to Stadium exhibition, to be held at the Snibston Discovery Museum, will follow the Club's history right through to the present day.

Graphics and historical artifacts will be used to tell the Club's story, based around certain themes including FA Cup Finals, League Cup wins, European campaigns, famous managers, fans and directors, the Mercury reports.

Leicester City chief executive Lee Hoos told the news provider that the exhibition "promises to be a first class event".

"It is a major event in City's exciting 125 celebrations calendar and I am looking forward to it," he said.

"Everyone at the club is very excited about its launch and we will certainly take time to go to Snibston over the next few weeks to celebrate our club's achievements over the years."

The Club has won the League Cup on three occasions, having contested five Cup finals - three of them at Wembley.
