A Michigan couple have revealed that a holiday to England inspired them to devote more time and care to their own garden, which saw them install a garden shed among other things.
Speaking to the Lansing State Journal, Pam and Jerry Schreiner said they fell in love with gardens while in England and returned home determined to transform their own.
Among the measures taken by the couple was the installation of a garden shed, which the newspaper stated is one of many wonderful features.
"Their yard has evolved into an oasis of flowers, trees and art. From the whimsical fairy garden with its miniature gazing ball to the charming garden shed to the decorative art pieces dotting the yard everywhere there is something to delight the eye," the source said.
They built the garden shed themselves along with a patio and a gazebo which is wired up to Mr Schreiner's flat-screen TV.
British homeowners may wish to consider investing in a garden shed of their own, as David Grievson, managing director of property development firm Puddlestone, recently said that garden home offices can make a property easier to sell.
