Do You Like Looking After Your Garden but With Little Effort?
We all like our gardens to look their best but mostly with the least amount of effort. This applies to most garden owners however there is a large group of people who really enjoy looking after their gardens. These people spend a great deal of time out there and tending to its every need, some have summerhouses at least 10×10 in size. I am not part of that group. I like an easy life so go out of my way to achieve this.
My wife likes to grow flowers in pots and is quite happy to sit out in the garden and to weed the plant pots before adding new plants which will flower throughout the summer time. During the summer she sits outside her 10×10 summer house where as in the winter she changes the pots around so that the winter flowers and plants are visible and this gives a little colour during the long winter time.
We have a large summerhouse in our garden, and I mean 10×10 in size, and the plant pots are situated along the front of this building. This gives the flowers and plants in the pots some shelter from the wind. The shed also provides a little radiated warmth from the shed walls which helps in the growth. In addition to that the light brown background of the shed provides a great backdrop to the colours of the flowers so help to compliment them.
If you don’t have a shed in your garden it is worth considering one as a shed, certainly a wooden one, will enhance most gardens. However, ensure you buy one to suit the size of your garden. If you have a large garden, maybe in a 1930’s house, there should be space for a large 10×10 summer house or shed which can be a feature of the garden. If you live in a modern house, with the more normal size small garden, then a slightly smaller shed will be the order of the day.
You will fine that modern garden sheds, from a decent summer buildings makers such as the range offered by 1st Choice Leisure Buildings, can look quite nice in a rural or urban garden. Their range include ones which can have Georgian windows in them at no extra cost. Besides looking really good the windows are very strong and improve the appearance of the garden no end.
This advice is backed up by experts who state that the appearance of a wooden building is aesthetically pleasing due to the natural feel of timber and gives the feel that it is right for wood to be in the garden. This will help to finish off the appearance of the garden. It’s important to consider the location to ensure that it does not become over bearing in the garden.
They also advise that consideration of its location should include the location to water and electric supplies as this is often a prerequisite of the modern garden. There are different types of wood which can be used and this can impact on the overall appearance and the balance between the garden and the home.
The best way to see the different types and styles of buildings available is to visit a summerhouses UK display site. Unfortunately most Internet shed companies don’t give you an opportunity to view beforehand so you need to buy with your fingers crossed. You could, of course, visit a retailer with a comprehensive display site such as 1st Choice’s sites near Guildford and Farnham. This will give you the opportunity to make a judgement as to what will suit you and your garden and there are normally buildings up to 10×10 and larger.
Take a look at our 10ft x 10ft Diamond summerbuildings as well as the 10×10 Platinum summer rooms.
