✅ Spray impregnated doors & windows:
Spray-impregnation is a treatment to protect windows and doors against the fungi and rotting process. This treatment will take care that all parts are protected, that can’t be reached after installation. You can choose between a colourless spray-impregnation or one of Lugarde’s four translucent colours. For optimal protection we advise you to stain the windows and doors within one year. Attention If you choose the paint treatment for your windows and doors it is not necessary to choose the spray-impregnation. During staining a pre-treatment is included. Because Lugarde check EVERY order, this will be checked accurately in advance.
✅ Painted doors & windows:
Would you like to paint as less as possible? Then choose a factory-treatment for your window and doors. Because you want to enjoy your log cabin as long as possible, we will protect your windows and doors against weather influences. This is done by treating them twice with a spray-treatment as a pre-treatment and then by painting in the colour of your choice. With these three layers the windows and doors are protected against the ‘great outdoors’. They will use the Dutch quality brand Sigma paint. Attention If you choose the paint treatment for your windows and doors it is not necessary to choose the spray-impregnation. During staining a pre-treatment of spray-impregnation is included. Because Lugarde check EVERY order, this will be checked accurately in advance.
✅ Spray treatment of entire building:
Spray Treated Walls.
The entire building is treated including the parts that can’t be reached after assembly.
Your log cabin will be protected against the fungi and rotting process from day one.
You can choose from four translucent colours.
You will still need to treat the outside of your cabin within one year to protect it against any weather influences.
Is Your Shed Or Summerhouse Used To Its Best?
The garden shed or possibly a summer house are one of the most useful pieces of garden equipment you can buy and is indispensable for most home owners. However, like many items, looking after it and keeping it in order can often get overlooked even with the best intentions in the world. We all say when your new garden building arrives that you will keep it shipshape but before you know it the shed is full of clutter and all those items you are keeping ‘just in case’.
The key to organising your summerhouse or shed is to decide what you are going to use it for. Is it going to be just a garden store, are you growing vegetables in there or are you going to use it for a garden workshop or hobby room. When you have decided then you can work out what needs to go. What shelves or cupboards are needed to help keep it in order.
Quite often there is so much in there that it’s an idea to take everything out of it and lay it out. By doing so you can sort all the tools, cans and bit and pieces into some sort of order. With the this clear you can see where you can put shelves and possibly a work bench. If you have a summer house with a pent roof (single sloping or mono pitch similar to these ones) you can put a shelf just above the window. By doing so you can utilise this wasted space. If you can have a bench under the window them you have easy access to this area.
Take a good luck at all the items which has come out of your shed. Are there items which have not been touched for years and are unlikely to be needed, then these are candidates for disposing off. When you do this you do need to be brutal and very hard headed as it’s very easy to think ‘it may come in’. Well it might but your numbers on the lottery may come in and you know how likely that is. And you never know you may be able to use your summer building for relaxing in.
